Hi!
Remember me? ::grin:: I don't think I have updated ya'll since Friday.. it seems like forever.
My Macromedia Flash class started on Friday. There was a problem in the computer lab and somehow the Flash software wasn't installed. Duh. So, my first class consisted on the instructor using her laptop and a projector, running the program and explaining what things were. Great. What a way to start the class. The software thing wasn't her fault but still... they couldn't get a tech person out there to fix the problem? It *is* a college ::shaking head::
Saturday morning, the girls and I drove up to my Mom's place. Had a nice time. She had a lot of energy, which was nice to see! I split and dug up some of her Shasta Daisies so I could plant them at my house. I love those things! They grow SO tall and look very pretty. I love daisies - my wedding bouquet and most of the flowers at my wedding were daisies. As we were leaving, we bumped into my brother, who was down for the weekend. He was spending time with my Dad and Step-Mom. Speaking of Dad, his surgery is Wednesday and all good thoughts and prayers are greatly appreciated. Paul was able to get a lot of yard work done with us being out of the way. We had a major argument about where I was going to plant the daisies. I ended up digging up a bed with a bunch of hostas and rearranging them so I could fit those damn daisies in the ground. Grrrrrrrr!
I had to teach Sunday School today - I had 12 kids in class today. Age range 3-9. Luckily, the 11am Sunday School service is pretty relaxed. So, we watched a Veggie Tales episode "Where's God When I am S-scared?" It was pretty cute. Then, I had the kids color some pictures about what good things they can think about when they are scared. We just stayed around the house today. I napped in the reclined (very nice indeed). Dinner was pretty simple - Breakfast for dinner night! The kids LOVE that and it takes the pressure off me!
Some thunder and lightening going on here.. pretty cool to watch. I tried to take some pictures of the lightening but the shutter speed of my digital is too damn slow. There were some cool looking bolts.. At one point, I am standing in my front yard, in socks, trying to catch the sky lighting up. Then I looked up and I realized I was standing under a TREE! DUH! I zipped back into the house.
Off to catch up on emails.. be good and have a great night! BYE! ::smooches::

Had a pretty decent night with the munchkins... we let the girls stay up to watch the *NSYNC concert that was on the WB network. The girls went wild - it was so freakin funny! Olivia was so excited when they sang "Bye Bye Bye" that she started to dance and sing along. I wish I had videotaped the girls. I did tape the concert though! This way *I* get a chance to watch *NSYNC when *I* want to see them ::hubba hubba::
I have been busy trying to get my Girl Scout paperwork in order for end of the year paperwork! UGH! Debbie does all the running around and I count the money and do paperwork. Trust me - I got the easy part! Plus - she has an older daughter who also does GS so Debbie is a little more up to speed with the more current info, which she then passes on to me..
My Macromedia Flash class starts tomorrow night. It turns out that my JavaScript instructor will be IN the class too.. as a student. YIKES! I hope I do well with Flash. ::crossing fingers::
Olivia and I have been dancing to Smashmouth's version of "I'm a Believer" from the Shrek soundtrack
I love being at home...

Our coffee machine is broken. The On/Off switch broke on Saturday. Fortunately, it broke in the "On" position so all we had to do was unplug it before we went to bed and plug it in to make fresh coffee. Paul and I are always breaking coffee machines. I think we just kill them. We drink a LOT of coffee in this house. I have bought all different brands at all different prices and I have come to one conclusion: Buy a cheap-ass machine. So - every time the thing breaks.. off to Kmart I go to pick out yet another machine. I figure we get about 10-12 months out of each machine. Not too bad at all. I refuse to pay more than $19.99 for a machine. I got a GREAT deal at Kmart - a White-Westinghouse machine, with a digital clock, timer/auto set, pause and serve (very important in this house - who has time to wait for a whole pot to brew?) AND a bonus grinder... All for the one time price of $12.00.
Woohoo!
I saw a link to this picture from the BarCodeKing. I bet this photographer makes some BIG bucks off of that image...
Oh - I had a couple inquiries as to HOW I celebrated the completion of my final last night...
I took a shower and watched "Six Feet Under" I am so glad Jeremy Sisto (Billy) is back - he is just adorable He looks MUCH better cleaned up instead of being all shaggy and scruffy..
Hey - can I celebrate or what!
